🏈 Coyotes with five selected to 2026 Bissell Division Preseason All-Division Team

The Kansas Collegiate Athletic Conference has announced the 2026 Bissell Division Preseason All-Division team, as voted on by the head coaches of the division.

Kansas Wesleyan had five players selected to the team.

Tight end Mason Ross, receiver Will Wilcox, offensive lineman Jacob McCaskill, linebacker Myles Elam and defensive back Taylor Collins were the Coyote honorees.

Ross had 19 receptions for 115 yards and two touchdowns for the Coyotes a year ago. Ross was a third-team All-KCAC pick a year ago.

Wilcox had 35 catches for 480 yards and two touchdowns before suffering an injury that cost him to miss the rest of the season after playing in six games.

McCaskill helped lead the Coyote offense to average 397.2 yards of total offense per game and 23.6 points per game. The Coyote offensive line also allowed only 12 sacks a year ago.

Elam had 66 tackles for the Coyotes this season, which included 2.5 sacks and five tackles for loss. His 66 tackles ranked fifth in the division. He was a third-team All-KCAC pick last season.

Collins had four interceptions on the season, the second highest total in the Bissell Division. He had 54 tackles which ranked 13th in the division. He ranked 20th in the entire NAIA in interceptions. He was a second-team All-KCAC pick last season.

McPherson College led the division with 12 players being named to the preseason all-division team, followed closely by Friends University with 11. The Falcons saw two players, Connor Tillman and Michael Lopez, named to multiple positions on the preseason team. Southwestern College is not far behind with nine honorees, followed by Kansas Wesleyan University with five players honored and Sterling College with one player honored.
