Reita Pauline Brandt

Reita Pauline Brandt, 93, of Phoenix, AZ, passed away on Monday, September 25, 2023. She was born August 5, 1930, on a farm north of Republic, KS, to Archie and Nina (Fisher) Morehead. She received her education from Belleville High School.
Reita married Harold K. Brandt on December 5, 1946, in Belleville, KS later making a home in Salina, KS, She worked ten years for S.S. Kresge and was a nurse’s aid at Asbury Hospital for twenty-two years retiring in 1996. Reita later made moves to Newton, KS in 2002 and then to Phoenix, AZ in 2016.
Reita was preceded in death by her son Gearold Brandt, husband Harold Brandt, daughter Gloria Clifford, daughter Barbara Bunce, and several brothers and sisters.
Reita is survived by her son Troy Brandt (Lynne) of Peoria, AZ, granddaughter Aubrey Philip (Joel) of Grand Rapids, IA, grandson Landon Brandt of Hesston, KS, grandson Dalton Brandt of Wichita, KS, granddaughter Tracy Bunce of Salina, KS, Tamme Halpain (Melanie) of NM, grandson Geary Clifford (Heather) of Lindsborg, KS and several great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held on Friday, May 3, 2024, at Emmual Church, 1325 E. Cloud St., Salina, KS, 67401 at 11:00 a.m. with lunch to follow.
In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to the Church.
