Wolf earns back-to-back All-America honors leading KWU competitors at NAIA Nationals

ASHEVILLE, N.C. - Kansas Wesleyan's Madelyn Wolf earned her second consecutive NAIA All-America honor in the women's javelin highlighting the KWU Track and Field team performances at the NAIA National Championships at Karl Straus Track.

Battling an elbow injury all season, Wolf stepped up and tossed a season best 43.92m in the event earning sixth place in the field. Her toss was nearly two meters better than her previous season best this year.

KWU had several other competitors at the National Championships.

The women's 4x800m relay team of Delaney Bond, Kirstin Hackney, Hailey Nordhus and Shelby Lingle finished 12th in the preliminaries with a new school record time of 9:10.17 in the event.

Keegan Lott placed 17th in the men's javelin with a throw of 56.50m.

Kean Dinkel finished 19th in the preliminaries of the men's 100m with a time of 10.85 seconds.

Evan Pearce placed 24th in the Steeplechase with a time of 9:39.62.
