William Paul Echols, 88, of Solomon, Kansas, passed away Friday, July 29th, 2022.
Paul was born in Arlington, California on May 12, 1934, a son of the late Louise Steward and William "Elbert” Echols.
Survivors include his four daughters, Pattie Crosby (Dave), of Solomon, Kansas, Debbie McFarlane (Leslie), of Fairbanks, Alaska, Kristi Chenaille, of Fairbanks, Alaska, Lisa Smeltzer, of Fairbanks, Alaska, Stefanie Simon (Sam), of Margate, New Jersey; three sons, Robert Echols, (Liezl), of Tulsa, Oklahoma; Randy Echols (Jill), of North Pole, Alaska, Alan Echols (Susie), of Paxson, Alaska; 20 grandchildren; and 31 great-grandchildren.
Paul is also survived by four brothers, James Echols (Lois), of Sugar Creek, Ohio, Aaron Echols (Marian), of Alliance, Ohio, Daniel Echols, of Colorado Srings, Colorado; Philip Echols (Mary), of Colorado Srings, Colorado.
He is preceded in death by his brother Mark Echols; sister Esther Hicks; granddaughter Morgan Simon; brother Reuben Echols; grandson Bryan Smeltzer; and daughter Linda Dittman.
Cremation has been chosen and services will be held at a later date.
