A Salina man was arrested on suspicion of aggravated domestic violence battery after an alleged incident early Sunday morning.
Officers were sent to a residence in the 900 block of N. Fifth Street at approximately 2 a.m. Sunday in regard to a domestic violence call, Salina Police Captain Gary Hanus said this morning.
Once there, officers met with a 28-year-old Salina woman and a 26-year-old Salina man. Hanus said the officers conducted an investigation in regard to the domestic disturbance. The officers were able to determine from their investigation that the woman had evidence of being a victim of domestic violence battery, he said.
The woman had visible injuries and was seen at Salina Regional Health Center, according to Hanus.

The man, identified as Anthony M. Darby, 26, of Salina, was arrested on the requested charge of aggravated domestic violence battery, Hanus said.
