$3,700 worth of damage, theft in SW Salina garage burglary

Police are investigating a burglary in southwest Salina in which multiple items, including a Gibson guitar and a Harley-Davidson fat tire bike, were stolen.

Sometime early last week, someone broke a window and stole multiple items belonging to a 77-year-old Salina man from a garage in the 600 block of Willis Avenue, Salina Police Captain Paul Forrester said this morning. Items taken include the following, he said.

●Porter Cable Jet Stream air compressor

●Roofing tools

●A 30-inch Sony speaker bar

●A number of NFL mini helmets

●A Gibson guitar

●A Harley-Davidson fat tire bike

Additionally, a door was damaged.

Total loss and damage was estimated at $3,700, Forrester said.
