Kathy J. Palmer, 72, Beloit, formerly of Minneapolis, died Saturday, March 5, 2022, at her home in Beloit with her family at her side. She was born Kathy Jolene Jones on November 19, 1949, the daughter of Eugene N. and Eunice E. (Lindgren) Jones.
Kathy was a graduate of Minneapolis High School and on January 13, 1967, she and Tommy Palmer were united in marriage. She worked at the Ottawa County Health Department for 19 years.
She was preceded in death by her parents; brothers Jerry, Dick, and Jim; and sister Elaine.
Survivors are her husband Tom; son Stacey Palmer and his wife Shelly; daughter Tami Smith and her husband Bob; five grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and sister Connie Dix.
Memorial services will be 11:00 a.m. Saturday, March 12 at Wilson Family Funeral Home, 405 Argyle Ave., Minneapolis, KS 67467.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Minneapolis Public Library and be mailed to the funeral home.
