Police are looking for the driver who left the scene of a two-vehicle accident Monday night in south Salina.
A black or dark blue vehicle was eastbound on E. Magnolia Road when it attempted to turn left onto Belmont Boulevard and struck a westbound 2015 Ford Escape driven by Juanita Garcia, 40, of Salina, according to Salina Police Captain Paul Forrester. The Escape had right front-end damage.
Garcia told police that the dark vehicle initially pulled into the parking lot of Solomon State Bank, 605 E. Magnolia Road, but then fled the scene, Forrester said. It is believed there were two people in the vehicle, he added.
Police are reviewing surveillance video from the area.
