KANSAS CITY, Mo. (AP) — One of the reasons the Kansas City Chiefs' offense is so difficult to stop is the sheer volume of options that Patrick Mahomes has at his disposal on any given play.
Last week against Baltimore, he targeted a whopping 11 different players while finding four different ones for touchdowns. That included fullback Anthony Sherman and left tackle Eric Fisher, who had lined up as eligible on the goal line.
Figuring out a way to deal with all those playmakers now falls on Patriots coach Bill Belichick, who has matched wits with Chiefs counterpart Andy Reid plenty of times in recent years.
