Kirk Ray Hammons was born on July 5, 1958, in Gridley, California, and he passed away on April 1, 2023, in Hays, Kansas, at the age of 64.
Kirk graduated from Gridley High School, and was an over the road semi-truck driver. In his spare time, he enjoyed hunting, fishing, and spending time with his family and friends.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Junior Ray and Deloris (Bilbao) Hammons.
His memories will be forever cherished by his wife Susie Scott of Mankato, daughters Tricia, Lisa, Kristen, and Kaci, grandchildren Bo Ray, Katie, Charlie and Carter. He is also survived by his mother Deloris, sisters Theresa, Lori, Tina, and Kathy, cousin Jeff Wilson (Brenda), nieces, nephews, and many friends.
No local services are planned at this time; a memorial service will be held in California at a later date.
