$35,000 worth of Harley-Davidson parts, tools stolen

Police are investigating the theft of $35,000 worth of Harley-Davidson parts and tools from a west Salina residence.

Christopher Williams, 66, of Salina, told police that sometime between Tuesday and Friday, someone broke into his shop building at his residence in the 700 block of Choctaw Avenue and stole Harley-Davidson Pan America, Sportster, and multiple other parts, as well as a number of tools, Salina Police Captain Paul Forrester said this morning.

Total loss was estimated at $35,000, he said.
