Shirley Ann Turner Raney, 86, passed away Monday, February 1, 2021 in Hays, KS. She was born July 22, 1934 in Salina, KS to Bud and Lottie (Phelps) Turner.
Shirley lived most of her life in Ellsworth, KS where she was a member of St. Bernard’s Catholic Church. She married Kenneth William Raney, Jr. on January 10, 1953 in Ellsworth.
Shirley is survived by sons, Ken Raney (Deborah) of Cape Girardeau, MO; Ty Raney (Laurinda) of Wichita, KS; Steven Raney (Nanci) of Riverside, CA: and Phillip Raney of Wichita; daughter, Susan Raney Barnes (James) of San Jacinto, CA; 15 grandchildren and 24 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Kenneth; sister, Lola and brother, Charles.
Graveside memorial service at 1:30 p.m., Friday, February 5, 2021 at Ellsworth Cemetery.
