After a two-day delay due to the winter storm, the Sterling Invitational is finally set to begin this Thursday and both Southeast of Saline teams will be eager to make a run following a near full-month hiatus.
The Invitational, which has been played since 1973 on the boys' side, and 2014 on the girls' side, has seen some of the best midseason basketball in the state of Kansas, and this year should be no exception, as SES, Sterling, Hugoton, Smoky Valley, Scott City, Lyons, Kingman, and Hutch Trinity all look to etch their names into the record books.
