SALINE COUNTY - A Nebraska man was found to be unconscious, after driving off the highway in Saline County.
According to the Saline County Sheriff's Office (SO) on Friday at 12:15 pm, deputies were sent to milepost 157 on US 81 Highway for the report of a man who drove off the freeway.
Reportedly, a 43-year old man identified as Paul Sloan of York, NE, was driving a black 2018 Ford F150 northbound on US 81. Sloan drove off into the median and continued for awhile, before driving off the highway and landing onto Shipton Road, slamming onto a guardrail.
After the accident Sloan was found to be unconscious, but regained consciousness at some point.
He was transported Salina Regional Health Center for treatment.
Sloan was suspected to be under the influence.
