The Southeast of Saline Trojans fell to the Hays TMP Monarchs earlier today by a final score of 78-36.
This snaps a four game winning streak for the Trojans, who fall to 11-7 on the year, while TMP improves to 16-4.
SES had just one scorer in double digits tonight, as Nakari Morrical Palmer was able to notch 11 points in the loss.
On the Monarchs side, Jackson Schulte led the charge with 26 points, backed up by three other double digit performances from Lucas Lang, Kade Harris and Jace Wentling.
TMP jumped out to an early 22-11 lead at the end of the first quarter and never looked back, connecting on 11 threes including six from Schulte, who put up 14 points in the third quarter alone.
While the loss stings for SES, the Trojans have still won ten of their last thirteen games dating back to the new year, and have an excellent chance to build some momentum ahead of the sub-state tournament in early March.
The Trojans will be back in action on Monday when they host the 15-3 Ellinwood Eagles at 7:30.
