
The Kansas Basketball Coaches Association has released their week four girl's basketball rankings as a new year of high school hoops is upon us.
The Salina Central Lady Mustangs retain their spot at #2 in Class 5A and after defeating 5-1 Minneapolis on Friday the Southeast of Saline Lady Trojans slide up three spots to #7 in Class 3A.
The Ell-Saline Lady Cardinals also retained their ranking in Class 2A, and will begin the new year ranked 7th.
Six of the seven top-ranked teams retained their spot atop their respective divisions, but Shawnee Mission West unseated Shawnee Mission Northwest, who tumbled all the way to #6.
