Ilo’s life began on April 25, 1935, in rural Wauneta, Nebraska. She is the daughter of Frank and Florence (Adamson) Maris.

Ilo was a graduate of Wauneta High School and was united in marriage to Wayne Mosiman on April 25, 1960, at the Eden Missionary Church in Wauneta.

Ilo was a beloved member of the Whitewater Community Church and participated in the Missionary Circle. She enjoyed and grew in her women’s Bible study in Furley.

Ilo decorated cakes and did lots of babysitting for area families.

Her greatest joy was her family which includes her husband of 62 years, Wayne Mosiman of Valley Center; her children LeAnn ( Richard) Enns of Hillsboro, Lonnie (Andrea) Mosiman of Valley Center and Larry Mosiman of Bel Aire; grandchildren Colson and Allison Retherford, Mandi (Chris) Ridenour, Penny (Ryan) Foster and Sara (Austin) McAvoy; twelve great-grandchildren; her brother Leland Maris of Nebraska; and several nieces and nephews.

Ilo passed away on Sunday October 2, 2022, at Wheatstate Manor in Whitewater.

She is preceded in death by her parents, and brothers Marvin and Dale Maris.

Her family will gather with friends on Tuesday from 5-7 p.m. at Lamb Funeral Home. Her funeral service will be held on Wednesday at 10 a.m. at the Whitewater Community Church. She will be laid to rest in Green Valley Cemetery, Furley.
