Kan. man threatens and accuses teen of texting his girlfriend

A Kansas man threatened and accused a teenage boy of texting his girlfriend before his arrest. 

According to the Saline County Sheriff's Office on August 20 at 10:57 am, deputies were sent to a property in Falun, KS about a threat that was made to a teenager.

Reportedly, a 16-year-old male was weed eating around a property when he was approached by a man in the neighborhood.

The man identified as Alexander Rothrock (39) of Falun accused the teen he was texting his girlfriend, according to the Sheriff. 

Rothrock then displayed a knife after the accusation.

Deputies arrived at the scene shortly after and arrested Rothrock when a search warrant was conducted at his home. The knife was recovered.

He was booked into the Saline County Jail in reference to Aggravated assault, Criminal threat, and Interference with law enforcement.
