A Minneapolis man was arrested on requested trespassing and drug charges after an incident in north Salina Sunday evening.
Officers were sent to 1007 W. North Street at approximately 6:15 p.m. Sunday for the report of an alarm. When they arrived, they detected multiple alarms going off in a south storage building on the property owned by Michael Sampson, 54, of Salina, according to Salina Police Captain Paul Forrester.
Officers observed a white male wearing a blue hooded jacket, hat, and backpack running through the building. When the officers went around the building, they saw the man standing in a treeline west of the building, Forrester said.
A pursuit on foot ensued before officers were able to take David Boeschling, 24, of Minneapolis, into custody.
Forrester said Boeschling was arrested on the following requested charges.
●Trespassing
●Interference with a law enforcement officer
●Possession of methamphetamine
●Possession of drug paraphernalia
