MARION - A small earthquake shook part of eastern Marion County on Wednesday evening.

According to the Kansas Geological Survey, a 2.4 magnitude quake struck at 7:52 p.m. Wednesday southeast of Marion. It was centered just southeast of the Alfalfa Road/170th Street intersection
