Delbert Doran Anderson

Delbert Doran Anderson of White City, Kansas, died November 5, 2020.

He was born April 2, 1933 to Ingman and Inez Anderson in White City, Kansas on the family farm.

Delbert graduated from White City High School in 1951 and enlisted and served in the US Air Force.

Delbert married Erma Joan Hultgren of White City, Kansas June 6, 1954.  After his military service they moved back to White City in 1956 to farm.  He loved his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ and attended the Christian Church.  He was a member of American Legion for over 60 years.  He served on the Tri County Telephone Board for 10 years.  He was a member of the Tri County Square Dance Club for 30 years. 

Delbert was preceded in death by his parents, Ingman and Inez Anderson, his son Gregory Alan, brother Frank Anderson, and brother Ernest Anderson.  He is survived by his wife of 66 years, Erma Anderson, sister Lois (Bob)Williams, children Steven (Maridella) Anderson of Gays Mills, Wisconsin, Sondra (Lyle) Williamson of Valley Center, Kansas, Donald (Brenda) Anderson of Dwight, Kansas, Sylvia (Stan) Worcester of Castle Rock, Colorado, 12 grandchildren,  10 great-grandchildren and many nieces, nephews and friends.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date.  No visitation is allowed at this time because of Covid.
