Wayne Crowder was born on Sept. 2, 1969, in Alexandria, VA. He passed away at the age of 52 at his home in Salina, KS on March 17, 2022.

Wayne was raised by his loving Grandma Grace I. Crowder (Igo). Wayne attended school at Oakdale, North Jr. High, and Central High. He later attended VoTech in Salina, KS, twice: for Carpentry Nov. 1994-April 1995 and machine shop in 2003. He worked at Beech/Ratheon; C&L Seal Storage; with his Dad, Clinton Crowder, on roofs; and he was self employed.

Wayne was happiest when he was working on his race car "#41" and racing at Salina Speedway. He enjoyed fishing and his music.

He is survived by brother Jeff E. Crowder, sister Ashley K. Hagen, Uncle Melvin Crowder, Aunts Jennifer Crowder-Kerr and Brenda Crowder, newphews and a niece, and many cousins. He was preceded in death by his father, Clinton Crowder, his mother, Brenda Howard (Crowder), Grandma Grace Crowder Igo, Uncle Orville "Bouncer" Crowder, and his cat, Roscoe.

Memorials to Ashley Hagen, who is covering all of Wayne's expenses. A celebration of life is scheduled for April 9, 2022, from 2-4 p.m. at the VFW, 1108 W. Crawford, Salina, KS.
