Bonnie Beth Jakabosky, 71, of McPherson, KS, passed away peacefully on Thursday, February 18, 2021, at Sandstone Heights, Little River. Bonnie was retired from the NCRA Refinery.
Bonnie was born on May 23, 1949, in Beloit, KS, the daughter of Clarence William and Eva Marie (McKee) Burnette. She graduated from McPherson High School in 1967.
Survivors include: her son, Michael Jakabosky (Debbie) of Little River, KS; four siblings, Bill Burnette of McPherson, KS, Leta Nelson (LaRue) of McPherson, KS, Ann Lockwood (Brad) of Highlands Ranch, CO, and Bob Burnette of Gladstone, MO; two grandsons, Michael Jakabosky, Jr. (Kylee) of McPherson, KS and Nicolas Jakabosky of McPherson, KS; three great-grandchildren, Dane Miller, Odin Sugars, and Makynna Jakabosky; and many extended family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, John Burnette.
The family will receive friends from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM, Sunday, February 21, 2021, at Stockham Family Funeral Home. The funeral service will be held at 10:30 AM, Monday, February 22, with Jeremy Nelson officiating at Stockham Family Funeral Home. Burial will follow at McPherson Cemetery.
