Hillsboro - Brett Dee Wright, 47, passed away July 28, 2021 at his residence in Hillsboro. He was born August 26, 1973 in Newton to Franklin and Patricia Carol (Prewit) Harvey and was brought home to reside in Potwin Kansas with his brother Tony and sister Penny. Brett grew up in Potwin, he attended Potwin Elementary School, Potwin Middle School and Remington High School.
He married Teresa Wright September 18, 2017 in Hillsboro.
Brett is survived by his wife Teresa Wright, sons Kyle Harvey (Hannah) daughter Kelsey Rodriquez, and Johnathan Harvey, mother Carol Prewit, mother Jeanie Harvey, siblings Tony Harvey (Randi) Penny Peters (Richard) Carolyn Tice (Tom) Carl Mathews (Shirley) Shirley Schmidt (Alfred) Chuck Mathews, his grandchildren, many nephews, nieces, cousins, friends and all who knew him.
Brett is preceded in death by his paternal grandparents Benjamin and Beulah Harvey, maternal grandparents Theodore and Geraldine Pope (Spivey), wife Kimberly Harvey, father Lee Bob Harvey, sister Susan Mathews and nephew Tyler Harvey.
A private Celebration of Life service will be held at the Hillsboro Mennonite Brethren Church in Hillsboro.
