The Kansas Collegiate Athletic Conference (KCAC) and Barnes & Noble College are pleased to announce that four Kansas Wesleyan women's cross country student-athletes have been named 2021-22 KCAC Scholar-Athletes.

Barnes & Noble College is the official sponsor of KCAC Scholar-Athlete and Scholar Team awards, and is the official campus bookstore and course material provider of the KCAC.

Tabetha Deines (SR/Salina), Stephanie Martinez (SR/Horizon City, Texas), Daniella Gaona (SO/Clifton, Texas) and Regan Rhodes (JR/Mullinville) were named to the honor.

York College leads the way with ten women's cross country athletes earning the scholar-athlete honor. Saint Mary is not far behind with nine, while Bethany and Friends each have six honorees. McPherson had five athletes earn the scholar-athlete distinction, followed up by Bethel, Kansas Wesleyan, and Tabor, who each had four scholar-athletes. Southwestern and Sterling round out the list of scholar-athletes, with each school having three honorees.
