Salina Parks and Recreation has announced that city-run park splash pads will be closing in early October.

In a notice on its <a href="https://www.facebook.com/SalinaParksAndRecreation/">Facebook page</a> this morning, Salina Parks and Recreation announced that the last day to use the splash pads in Jerry Ivey Memorial Park, Hawthorne Park, and Centennial Park will be Oct. 3.
