Bill passed away on Friday, August 27, 2021. He was born on September 23, 1934 in Los Angeles, California to Louis Max and Mary (Totten) Iselin. Bill grew to manhood in Banning, California. He was a graduate of Whittier College, served in the United States Army, and attended graduate school at the University of Arizona. Bill was a member of the Civil Air Patrol.
In his professional life he was employed by the Arizona Department of Agriculture, Kansas Department of Agriculture, New Mexico Department of Agriculture, Imperial County Department of Agriculture, Albany International, and Iselin Associates Inc. In each of these organizations Bill was dedicated to the study of entomology.
Bill loved being a pilot and an entomologist, as well as a love for nature and history. He enjoyed being part of the social organizations of E Clampus Vitus and Westerners International.
Bill was preceded in death by his parents; brother Herbert Iselin; and sister Dorothy Jost (Walter).
He is survived by his wife Karen Williams Iseli; son Louis Iselin (Huong); daughter Kail Clatterbuck (Chance); son Max Iselin (Jody); and daughter Heather Iselin; eight grandchildren, Megan, Rachel, Joshua, Shania, Justin, Ashley, Kyle, and Sean.
Bill will be interred at Highland Cemetery, Minneapolis, Kansas.
