Sacred Heart collectd a sweep of Beloit St. Johns on Thursday as the girls defeated the Lady Bluejays 46-43. On the boys side, they blew the Bluejays out of the water, winning 91-59.

Mia Hamilton would strike first for the Lady Knights at the 6:00 mark. The Lady Knights never trailed, but kept their lead within single digits all game.
Turnovers and missed shots summed up the majority of the first half, but the Lady Knights would lead 12-9 at the end of the first quarter.
Adelyn Lee would score 7 in the second quarter to lead 26-20 going into intermission. Going into the fourth quarter the Lady Knights would hold the lead by 4, 39-35.
Sacred Heart would be led by none other than Adelyn Lee she finished her night with 14 points. Skylar Douglas contributed with 12, while Mia Hamilton and Bethany Campa finished with 6.
On the other side, the Lady Bluejays were led by there only senior, Carlie Brummer, who finished with 14.
The Lady Knights move to 9-8 overall, a quick turnaround for the Lady Knights as they play host to Republic County on Friday.
It may have been frigid cold outside but the Sacred Heart boys were steaming hot from beyond the arc as the Knight knocked down 20 three-pointers in the contest to take home the win 91-59.
Early on in the first quarter it was back and forth, midway through the first the Knights turned it on leading 27-14 after the first. The Knights made 7, 3’s in the first quarter. At the Intermission, the Knights pulled away, leading 55-34.
Noah Hines led the way in the first half with 15 points.
The Bluejays ran out of energy, and in the third quarter, the Knights expanded thier lead, 83-48.
In a group effort and nearly two dozen, three-pointers the Knights would stay perfect on the season.
The Knights were led by Will Tuttle finishing with 22. Noah Hines finished with a career-high 20 points. The other Knight that had a season-high game was Luke Koland who finished with 14.
The Bluejays were led in scoring by Edward Hornick (21), and Gabe Roderick (9).
The Knights stay perfect on the season at 17-0, 9-0 in league.
Both teams are back in league action as the Knights host the Buffaloes of Republic County on Friday.
