Florence Awyn (Kaser) Ayers
August 23, 1925
Florence Awyn (Kaser) Ayers was born August 23, 1925 to William Henry and Florence (Cram) Kaser at their farm home east of Osborne. Awyn was the youngest of 6 children. She was preceded in death by her husband, Lester Ayers, and also her parents and three brothers, Wayne, Kenneth, Dwight and wife Minnie, 2 sisters Rena and husband Ralph Barber, Opal and husband Harold Coop, and a grandson Christopher Ayers.
Awyn was married to Lester Ayers for 59 years.
They were Wholesale/retail milk distributors in the Osborne area for 35 years.
Their children are Janet and husband Tim DeCocq, Alan, Glen and wife Becky; Seven grandchildren; and Nine Great Grandchildren.
Awyn loved her family and spent a lifetime caring for them.She was known for her flowers and her kindness, she loved music, gardening, cooking, teaching Sunday school for over 65 years and rest home work and programs.
She wrote poetry and songs, played the organ for church and for Parkview Care Center, and most of all she loved the Lord.
A visitation will be held on Tuesday evening from 5PM until 7PM at the Rentschler Family Mortuaries Osborne Chapel.
Celebration of life services will be held at 10:30AM Wednesday June 19, 2024, at the Rentschler Family mortuaries Osborne Chapel.
The family has requested memorial contributions be made the Awyn Ayers memorial fund to be split between Gideon’s International and NwKares Hospice and can be sent in care of the mortuary.
Arrangements have been entrusted to the Rentschler Family Mortuaries of Osborne, KS.
