MORRIS COUNTY—One person was injured in an accident just before 9:30a.m. Tuesday in Morris County.
The Kansas Highway Patrol reported a 2006 Peterbilt semi driven by Robert Leroy Dauer, 74, Marquette, was eastbound on U.S. 56 approximately six miles east of Herington.
The vehicle crossed the center lane into the westbound lane. The driver was unable to gain control of the semi and rolled and came to rest on its side across both eastbound and westbound lanes of U.S. 56.
EMS transported Dauer to the Marion County Hospital. He was properly restrained, according to the KHP.
