Kansas Athletics Announces Sellout for Dillons Sunflower Showdown

LAWRENCE, Kan. – The 123rd meeting between Kansas and Kansas State will be played in front of a sold-out crowd on Saturday, Oct. 25, as Kansas Athletics announced a sellout for the Dillons Sunflower Showdown.

The sellout marks Kansas’ third this season and the 12th under head coach Lance Leipold. The Jayhawks have 10 sellouts at David Booth Kansas Memorial Stadium since the start of the 2022 season and two sellouts at Children’s Mercy Park during the 2024 season.

Fans who purchased tickets for the Dillons Sunflower Showdown are encouraged to download their mobile tickets prior to arriving to the stadium. Kansas enters the Dillons Sunflower Showdown with a 4-3 overall record, including a 3-1 mark in games played at David Booth Kansas Memorial Stadium. Kansas’ matchup with Kansas State will be the fifth of seven home games during the 2025 season, with Oklahoma State (Nov. 1) and Utah (Nov. 28) upcoming.
