SALINE COUNTY—One person was injured in an accident just after 5p.m. Monday in Saline County.
The Kansas Highway Patrol reported a 2013 Ford Edge driven by Debra A. Houghton, 71, Tipton, was westbound on West Ash Street approaching North Broadway.. The sunlight blinded the driver causing the SUV to strike a northbound 2003 Hyundai Santa Fe driven by Lorina K.. Kuhn, 40, Minneapolis.
EMS transported Houghton to Salina Regional Health Center. Kuhn was not injured. Both driver were properly restrained, according to the KHP.
