DICKINSON COUNTY —One person was injured in an accident just after 5p.m. Tuesday in Dickinson County.
The Kansas Highway Patrol reported a 2018 Chevy Equinox driven by Benjamin John Shafer, 26, Abilene, was westbound on Kansas 18 one half mile east of Mink Road.
The SUV rear-ended a 2017 Chevy Silverado driven by Hock, Matthew Warren Hock, 43, Abilene, who was slowing to turn north into a driveway.
EMS transported Shafer to Memorial Health System. Hock was not injured. Shafer was not wearing a seat belt, according to the KHP.
