Following is the Saline County Health Department COVID-19 update for Friday.
Contact tracers at the Saline County Health Department have identified some clusters of new COVID cases related to the Thanksgiving holiday; however, due to the drastic sudden increase in cases, many investigations have been routed to KDHE.
●Two additional members of our community have lost their lives to COVID-19 since our last update on Wednesday.
●There have been 83 new cases of COVID-19 reported in Saline County since our last update.
●Salina Regional Health Center reports that 29 people are currently hospitalized due to COVID-19.
●The Saline County Health Department staff is currently monitoring 777 patients with issues related to COVID-19.
