CKF Addiction Treatment is asking members of the public to share their concerns and what they would like to discuss and learn more about during an upcoming forum.
"In an effort to engage and inform our community members of the efforts put forth by varying agencies in the Salina and Saline County area, we will be holding an educational forum to discuss developments in the cross-sections of mental health, substance abuse, criminal justice, and homelessness. This forum is to help facilitate growth, improvement, and change in these areas through discussion with our community members," CKF noted in a news release distributed this morning.
The forum is scheduled for 6-8 p.m. May 3 in the Salina Grace Community Resource Center, 142 S. Seventh Street. The forum is being organized by the CIT Council, a collaboration of local services for mental health, substance use disorder, housing, and criminal justice.
