Abilene's Sutter elected to LeadingAge Kansas board

TOPEKA – Andy Sutter, executive director of Village Manor in Abilene, has been elected to the board of LeadingAge Kansas.

LeadingAge Kansas members voted in six new board members to lead the association at their annual business meeting on April 22.

“The slate of candidates was outstanding,” President/CEO Debra Zehr said. “These individuals will lead our association into the future of our field.”

LeadingAge Kansas is an association of 160 not-for-profit aging services providers dedicated to serving the needs of aging Kansans.

“Andy brings valuable quality-focused skills and deep experience in person-centered care that will help advance the work of the LeadingAge Kansas Board and its membership now and in the future,” said Zehr.

Other new board members included the following.

●Tammy Pettijohn, Administrator at SunPorch of Smith Center

●Rodney Whittington, CEO of Villa St. Francis in Olathe

●Shawn Sullivan, President/CEO of Midland Care in Topeka

●Cheyenne Strunk, Executive Director of Ascension Living in Manhattan

●Charlotte Rathke, Administrator of Locust Grove Village in LaCrosse
