The Southeast of Saline Trojan baseball team rode hot bats and dominant pitching to two more wins on Friday to remain a perfect 6-0 on the season.

SES defeated Abilene by final scores of 8-2 and 3-7, extending their winning streak and pushing their run differential to +65 on the young season.

Leadoff hitter Jaxson Gebhardt shined in the Trojansā€™ 8-2 victory, driving in three big runs while on the mound Landen Allen and Evan Nickelson combined for eight strikeouts, allowing just two runs on eight hits.

Abilene kept the game tied at 0-0 until the fourth inning where the Trojans exploded for five runs and sealed the deal with three more in the sixth.

The Cowboys managed to strike first in game two, taking a 1-0 lead in the first and tying the game at 2-2 in the third before SES rattled off five unanswered runs to complete the win and the sweep.

Pitching once again helped win the day in game two as Eli Harris and Bryant Banks allowed just two earned runs in seven innings of four-hit ball.

The Trojans will be back in action on Tuesday when they travel to Salina to take on rival Sacred Heart in a two-game afternoon.
