Obituary of Robert Wayne Cline
Robert (Bobby, Bob) Wayne Cline, the son of Chester Henry Cline and Ora (Landis) Cline, was born April 05, 1928, at rural Haddam, Kansas, and passed away on October 01, 2022, at Carmen, Oklahoma, at the age of 94 years, 5 months, and 26 days.
Robert grew up in the Horseshoe/Haddam communities, graduating from Haddam High School in 1946.
Following high school, he helped his parents farm. In 1950, he joined the National Guard and served six years. In 1953 Robert worked in Wichita, Kansas, at Steffens Dairy.
On May 02, 1954, he was united in marriage to Clara Louise Decker at the Hollenberg Methodist Church.
In 1956, they returned home to farm south of Haddam, Kansas, where together, they raised four children.
Robert was saved at the age of 13 and baptized into the faith. As an adult, he joined and attended the Brantford Covenant Church. He enjoyed the outdoors and family life. He was loved and will be missed by family and friends.
Robert was preceded in death by his parents, three brothers, Cleo Cline, Vaughn Cline (Rosella), and Paul (Mary) Cline.
He is survived by his wife Clara Cline of Carmen, Oklahoma, three sons, Wayne (Nancy) Cline of Springfield, Missouri, Jack (Cindy) Cline of West Point, New York, and Randy (Katrina) Cline of Kansas City, Missouri; daughter Bobbi Cline Parker of Carmen, Oklahoma; grandchildren, great-grandchildren, relatives, and friends.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, October 08, 2022, at the Brantford Covenant Church, rural Clyde, Kansas, with Pastor Michael Ostermann officiating.
Interment will be at Haddam Cemetery, Haddam, Kansas.
Memorials may be given to Brantford Covenant Church Camp Fund.
Visitation: Friends may call at Brantford Covenant Church, rural Clyde, Kansas from noon to two p.m., with the family greeting friends from noon to two p.m.
