Mary E. Kopfer, 88, of Clay Center, died, Friday, November 27, 2020 at Medicalodge.&nbsp; She was born on December 28, 1931 at Clay Center, the daughter of Edward and Adeline (Fitzgerald) Hatfield.&nbsp; Mary grew up in Clay Center and graduated from CCCHS in 1949.&nbsp; She married Leon Kopfer on April 22, 1950 and he preceded her in death on August 8, 1999.&nbsp; They farmed in the Broughton area.&nbsp; Mary worked for Key Feeds egg production and managed the Clay County Park.&nbsp; She was a member of the Clay Center ELKS and the American Legion Auxiliary.&nbsp; She is also preceded in death by her parents, 2 brothers, Jim and Earl Hatfield, 4 sisters, Ruth Hatfield, Juanita Shepard, Maxine Rhoades and Irene Bull.

Daughter: Linda and husband, Larry Wohler of Clay Center, KS

Daughter: Marilyn and husband, David Evans of Manhattan, KS

9 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren
