KWU competitive dance 4th at KCAC Championships

NORTH NEWTON – Kansas Wesleyan competitive dance finished fourth at the KCAC Championships held Friday evening at Bethel College.

The Coyotes finished with a score of 56.00 in the event, which edged out Southwestern by 0.9 points.

York College led the field in the event, earning the KCAC Championship with a score of 61.57. Bethel was second with a score of 60.30, Ottawa was third at 57.07, followed by KWU and Southwestern. Saint Mary was sixth with a score of 45.87 and Bethany was seventh with a score of 45.50.

KWU also had three student-athletes earn individual honors from the conference.

Kiran Bailey and Karissa Kindlesparger were named Honorable Mention All-KCAC, while Kelcie Bailey was named to the All-KCAC First Team.
