The 6th-ranked Bennington boy's basketball team will begin their postseason push on Monday when they welcome in Northern Heights to open sub-state play at 7:00.
The Bulldogs come into this contest at 16-4 having won seven of their last eight while the Wildcats enter at 3-17 after splitting their last two games of the season.
A potential all-area rematch looms in the distance as the winner of this game will square off with either 12-8 Ell-Saline or 6-14 Herington in the sub-state semifinals next week.
Meanwhile, on the other side of the bracket, the 1-seed in Chase County (17-3) will host Marion (3-17), with the winner of that game advancing to take on Sacred Heart (11-9) or Hillsboro (9-11).
Tip-off between the Bulldogs and Wildcats is set for 7:00 at Bennington High School.
