"It is with heavy hearts that we announce the Fire On The Mountain Tour, featuring The Charlie Daniels Band and the Marshall Tucker Band, is officially canceled." That's the word from Tony's Pizza Events Center.
The tour was scheduled to stop at Tony’s Pizza Events Center on Nov. 19.
On July 6, the world was stunned to learn that Charlie Daniels, the fiery fiddle-playing icon, had passed away from a stroke. Daniels was 83 years old.
Rather than try to replace the venerable band leader, the tour has been cancelled out of respect for Daniels. Our thoughts and prayers are with the Daniels family and his band mates.
Tickets purchased by credit/debit through the Tony’s Pizza Events Center Box Office will automatically be refunded within three to five business days.
