Kansas Wesleyan Women's Tennis had two student-athletes named to the All-KCAC teams as Karley Benson (SR/Salina, Kan.) and Zofia Selwesiuk (SR/Wroclaw, Poland) were named Honorable Mention All-KCAC team.
Benson was 2-10 overall on the season, playing primarily at No. 2 singles, but also had matches at No. 1 and No. 3. She had a 1-6 record in the KCAC play. She and Selwesiuk had a 2-7 record overall in doubles on the season and a 2-3 record in conference play in doubles.
Selwesiuk had a 4-6 record overall on the season, all at the No. 1 singles position. She had a 3-3 record in the KCAC this season. She and Benson had a 2-7 record overall in doubles on the season and a 2-3 record in conference play in doubles.
The KCAC also announced its 2022 KCAC Scholar-Athletes for women's tennis. Benson, Selwesiuk, Makenzie Archer (JR/McPherson, Kan.) and Michaela Crowe (SO/Overland Park, Kan.) were named to the Scholar-Athlete team.
The All-KCAC Scholar-Athlete Academic Award recognizes excellence in the classroom by KCAC member student-athletes who are sophomores or above in academic standing at the beginning of the semester in which they compete, carry a minimum 3.250 cumulative GPA at the beginning of the semester in which they compete and student-athletes must appear on the eligibility certificate for the sport and have attended one full year at the current KCAC institution to be eligible.
KWU finished its season 3-11 overall and a 3-6 mark in the KCAC.
