Over $1200 of work tools were reportedly stolen from a home that was under a remodel.
According to the Salina Police Department (SPD) on Friday, August 1st at around noon, a 53-year old man reported an alleged burglary occurred at his home on the 600 block of E. Iron. He reported to police that between the dates of July 30th at 2:30 pm and August 1st at 11:30 am, unknown suspect(s) entered into his home (which was under a remodel) and stole several DeWalt tools.
SPD stated the the tools that were stolen included, cordless drills, angle grinder, circular saw and tool batteries. The loss was estimated to be over $1,200.
No suspect(s) were identified at this time and the investigation is ongoing.
