SALINE COUNTY—One person was injured in an accident just after 2p.m. Thursday in Saline County.
The Kansas Highway Patrol reported a 2006 Suzuki 1300 RZK driven by Stephen Watson, 21, Magnolia, Texas, was northbound on Interstate 135 at a high rate of speed. The driver attempted to take the Schilling exit, braked hard and the rear tire began to skid. The driver lost control of the vehicle. It traveled into the ditch on the west side of the exit ramp and overturned.
EMS transported Watson to Salina Regional Medical Center. He was wearing a helmet and jacket at the time of the accident, according to the KHP.
