ABILENE - Youth activity scholarships are the latest beneficiary of Memorial Health System's Jeans Day fundraiser.

Employees of Memorial Health System wore blue jeans at work for a Jeans Day  fundraiser on Fridays throughout the month of April.

Employees make a donation, of at least $5, and are allowed to wear blue jeans at work.

A total donation of $960 was presented to Abilene Parks and Recreation. The money is to go towards “scholarships” for kids to participate in activities.

The monthly Jeans Day fundraiser is organized by the MHS Employer of Choice (EOC) committee.
