Jack Doan, 66, passed away Friday April 30, 2021 at home surrounded by family. He was born April 4, 1955 to the late Frank and Peggy Doan. Jack worked for Philips Lighting for 15 years and while doing so earned a bachelor’s degree in accounting from Benedictine College than a master’s degree in business from Kansas Wesleyan University. He worked for the Internal Revenue Service for 14 years retiring in 2018.
Jack is survived by his wife, Margaret Doan; son, Russell LaRue; daughter, Jordanne and Jeremy Gerdes; granddaughters, Jessalyn and Jillian Gerdes; brother, Dave and Janice Doan; nephew, David and Chris Doan; brother, Frank and Karla Doan; niece, Kaycee and Kyle Crouthers; nephew, Kale Krum; and mother-in-law, Margaret Book.
At his request, Jack will be cremated with a private family service. In Jack’s memory please do a random act of kindness for others.
