KANSAS CITY, Mo. – On Thursday, during the annual Chiefs Kickoff Luncheon benefitting the KC Chamber, the Kansas City Chiefs and the Hunt Family Foundation released the 2024-2025 Kingdom Impact Report.
Featuring LB Nick Bolton on the cover, the report offers a glimpse into the dozens of programs and initiatives that make up the year-round community outreach and charitable giving efforts of the Kansas City Chiefs, the Hunt Family Foundation, and the associated groups that comprise the Chiefs Community Caring Team. It also features numerous highlights of players’ individual community efforts and those of their own charities and foundations.
“Our 11th annual Kingdom Impact Report reflects the strength of our organization-wide commitment to responsive community engagement as well as our authentic, long-term relationships with our community partners,” Chiefs Vice President of Community Impact and Civic Affairs Anne Scharf said. “We remain grateful for the opportunity to walk alongside our community and contribute in ways that reflect the values of the Chiefs organization.”
The report features many details and highlights, including:
- $430,000 raised for Jackson County CASA through the annual Chiefs Charity Game, with this year’s game – also benefiting Jackson County CASA – being held on Friday, August 22 during the club’s preseason game against the Chicago Bears.
- $1.7M raised for Kansas City-based charities through the Hunt Family Foundation 50/50 Raffle, held at each home game at GEHA Field at Arrowhead Stadium.
- The HFF Spring Grant Cycle has provided 28 total grants worth more than $500,000 since its inception.
- The club’s annual city-wide Red Friday tradition – to be held on Friday, September 5 this season, has raised $7M for the Ronald McDonald House Charities of Kansas City through the sale of limited-edition flags over the past 11 years.
