Dusty Lee Murray, 61, of Salina, Kan., passed away Wednesday, July 10, 2024. He was born on October 30, 1962, in Pawhuska, Okla., to Walter and Grace (Clark) Murray.
Dusty grew up in Oklahoma and worked for many years as an oil rig roughneck. He was a proud member of the Kaw Nation and loved OU football and spending time with his grandkids.
He is preceded in death by his parents; siblings, Joe, Dan, and Vincent Murray and Tonya Gepher.
Survivors include his children, Janna Murray (Dustin Smith) and Dustin Murray; mother of his children, Barbara Hart (Rick); grandkids, Tre Kremeire, Shadrick Murray, and Isabella Smith; sister, Linda Pontious; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. on Saturday, July 27, 2024, at Ryan Mortuary, Salina. Burial will be at a later date at the Washunga Cemetery, NewKirk, Okla.
