Temperatures are expected in the mid 90s, but the high humidity will make it feel like the high 90s to lower 100s, according to the National Weather Service (NWS) in Wichita. Take frequent breaks if working outdoors!
Strong to severe storms will be possible this afternoon and evening across the area. The greatest chance of seeing severe storms will be along and west of Interstate 135, NWS noted.
